Greetings,

This was originally posted on the Kingdom Youth Yahoo group and I thought it was definitely worth a share.

YIS,
Lady Michelle

As
 a non-profit
organization, any service does for the Kingdom or a representative of
the Kingdom can count as community service. There are many schools,
scholarships (Bright Futures requries 75 hours by graduation), and
organizations (JROTC) that require a certain number of community
service, sometimes per year. Also, the more that is listed on a college
application, the more "involved" the applicant seems to the admissions
board.  Working in the
kitchen, retaining, assisting with youth activities, spending time in
scribes point, set-up and take-down all can earn community service are
just a few things that your child can help do at an event. All your
child would need to do to receive the credit is to do a service and then
have the leader of the service sign their community
service log sheet (usually available thru their school office).  If you or your teen have any questions, please contact me off list and I'll do my best to answer them. :) Yours in Service,
Lady Amira de Medici

Minister of Youth, Kingdom of Trimaris

say that the age of chivalry is past, that the spirit of romance is
dead. The age of chivalry is never past, so long as there is a wrong
left unredressed on earth. - Charles Kingsley
