XXXIVth Artemisian Six Month Anniversary Party
March 1, 2014 9:00am – 11:00pm
Barony of Arn Hold
Star, ID
Come and join us as we celebrate Their Majesties’ 6th Month Anniversary to
Their long and illustrious reign. There will be tournaments to mark the
day: to confirm His Majesty’s Champion, to confirm Her Majesty’s Champion,
The Defender of the Sable Rose, and the Bard of Artemisia. The combat lists
will be fought in the traditional style. His Excellency, Viscount Etienne
is coordinating the field arrangement and encourages all to bring their
sunshades and pavilions to enhance the pageantry of the day. The Arn Hold
Pewterers will be selling wares to support the Kingdom Travel Fund, so come
and do some shopping. As Their Royal Highnesses are graciously sponsoring
this party, They are promoting a Byzantine theme to the attire for the
event, so bring out your fine silks and decorative pieces brought from
Byzantium. The Crown will be seeking counsel of the Peers of the Realm
during the day.
The location for this fine event is the Star Community Church in Star,
Idaho. For those who recall, this is the same location where His Majesty
was Crowned as Prince of the Realm back in his wee youth. There will be a
fundraiser lunch of soups and stews, as the local township is not graced
with a dearth of taverns and inns. Merchants ARE welcome; please contact
the Event Steward for further information.
For those bringing their full Renaissance Vehicle accommodations, there is a
location in town offered by a member of the Barony to park and help sustain
all 110 of your needs.
The doors will open to socialize at 9 am, with Their Majesties starting the
celebrations at 10:00. The day will be filled with the tournaments, and
Their Highnesses will be making a special processional in the early evening
hours. After the special processional, all are invited to enjoy the
accommodations at this DAMP site until 11:00 in the evening.
