My children are PAID members and a non profit organization is telling paid
members that they may not attend an event. This is wrong on many levels and
is going to be taken up with SCA headquarters. You can not tell paid
members they are not allowed to attend an event! We do not have babysitters
and are in the SCA as a FAMILY membership. It doesn't matter what
activities are at events. It is our choice as members if we want to attend
those events, but arn hold is specifically telling us we are not welcome at
masked ball! Did you know that in the almost 2 years I have started playing
in the SCA I have not had even one positive experience with the Barony of
Arn Hold? You guys are not getting any better! I joined the SCA to support
my brother Duncan. Him and the people of Thousand Eyes, a few friends in
Montana and a few friends in Utah are the only reasons my husband and I
keep playing. Arn Hold has shown they are neither kid friendly or open to
new people with new ideas. I have been told to keep my opinions to myself
and "walk softly" by the baroness because arn hold does not like to change.
I have been attacked by pasha/kellie kennison on Facebook and in public at
uprising while I was pregnant! Arn hold needs a major change in leadership
before we will even consider attending any barony events with the
exceptions of crown and coronation.
