Not getting into the whole "bad barony/bad people/good barony/good people" discussion, hopefully helpful information for you Gwendolyn- the Shire of Cote du Ciel is in Logan, UT; the next closest group to you is the Shire of Twae Linnes in Twin Falls, ID, then Cote du Ciel and the Barony of One Thousand Eyes [Idaho Falls-Pocatello] are about equidistant, depending on which road you take. If you continue South the next group is the Barony of Gryphons' Lair in Ogden, then the Barony Loch Salann in Salt Lake, and then the Province of Arrows' Flight in Provo. If you'd rather head North, let me know and I'll tell you about those Montana groups, but I take no responsibility for the locals up there.  ;-)

Wow, that is rather unwelcoming.  Maybe the person who wrote
that doesn't understand budget constraints.  Or maybe he/she had a bad
experience with unsupervised children.  In either case, I wouldn't judge
the entire barony on the words one person wrote.  But if your mind is set
on avoiding Arn Hold, you can come play with us down south.  I can't
promise we'll join in on the disliking the moose lands, but we'll try to
get your mind off of it.  And bring that brother of yours.  He's a fun guy.
