[Artemisia] Kingdom Financial Crisis

Facebook has all but killed this list. I would think there would be less
participation here than if a discussion was held at Uprising, but I also
understand your point. In the end it is up to the KFC when and where and
how they would like to try to do it. If it is held at Uprising, I will try
my best to take minutes and post them.

In terms of questioning the "general supplies" issue, the Kingdom Exchequer
office does a quick review of event budgets submitted. Sometimes questions
get asked, or suggestions made with the goal of getting a circumspect
budget, but unless there is something specifically flat our wrong (sending
the group's balance into the red for example), the Kingdom level isn't
trying to dictate nor does it want to dictate how local groups spend their
money. I understand that discussion is fraught with interpersonal traps,
but that is part of the job of the Kingdom office.

And don't quote me on this, I know it hasn't been directly addressed yet,
but it is my understanding that a large chunk of the $1700 the Kingdom
spent was on enough award medallions to last us several years. Validation
or info refuting my understand will at least be in the financial report
sent to the Sage I mentioned if not in an early discussion with the KFC.
