Ah, Jeeze, cuz, that's how they measure silk ;-) Not sure how it's
graded, but more momi's is heavier weight.
If you want a really good idea of how different silks compare, go here:

and buy their silk fabric swatches- or buy their big pack. Having the
fabrics to hand is a lot more helpful than trying to figure out what's
what from descriptions. And, I've bought several things from them-
fabric, dyes, and clothing blanks- and they're an excellent company to
deal with. Just be aware that the clothing blanks tend to be on the
small side- for the most part, those of you who have met me, I'm about
as large a person as they will fit. For example, I normally wear most
larges, and their extra large silk boxers were almost tight on me.
