[Blgspops] Thursday performance info - final bits

So, for those who were not at rehearsal last week:

Place: Head Start - Education Academy at the former Holy Rosary Church, 
corner of 5th St W and Custer. Loading zone on Custer in front of the 
doors, parking either behind the building (off of Broadwater) or across 
the alley from the building next to the playground. If all those are 
full, on-street where you can.

Dress: White top, black bottom.

Time: Start time is 6:00 pm for the 'Petting Zoo', 6:30 pm for the 
concert itself. There will be several donated instruments for the kids 
to pick up and handle, with supervision. If you want to help with that, 
please be there by 6.


There are some small rooms behind the raised platform we will be 
performing on (used to be the altar space when it was a church) where we 
can put our coats and cases and etc.


We are only doing four pieces:


The Second Storm

Sorcerer's Apprentice -  Julie M conducting

Dark Adventure

March of the Dwarves -  Randy G conducting


John will talk between each piece, but it should be really short overall 
- 20 min? - after which there are supposed to be refreshments provided 
by Head Start.


I had a thought this weekend - we might do a second 'session' on the 
'petting zoo' after we play - that will give the kids all a chance to 
hear the orchestra all together before maybe they want to try out one.
