Dear Friends,

Thank you again for the beautiful yellow roses, B&N gift certificate  
and gracious words--both public and private--which I will play back  
in my head for weeks to come, so appreciated are they.  I wish you  
all the time, space and inner commitment you need to develop your  
projects and I offer the homely reminder that questions, more than  
inspiration or free association, can push a non-fiction project along  
incrementally.
