I get two days behind on my lists, and look what happens! It blossomed!

OK - the announcement is turning up all over the place, including the EK 
list.

I'd also vote for something non-sheep-specific on a badge.  A strick of 
flax looks pretty boring, though, and we'd spend all our time telling 
people what it is. (Same for silk cocoons.) I think a distaff is 
clearer. And I'm also interested in pictures...

Johanne, Jan heard me mention spinning on Tuesday, and said he'd tell 
you. Maybe we can get together one week?

I do prefer a looser organization. Especially if we do end up with 
people doing all possible fiber things, which could have us comparing 
very different skills...   OTOH, that's my (non-competitive) bias, and 
we certainly can discuss this again much later down the road.
