[EKStationers] Ekstationers Digest, Vol 52, Issue 2

Greetings to the list,
I too have been busy with my work life of late. I've actually
registered for a 17 week project management course (homework and all),
so free time is sparse. If there are dates of classes or workshops
going around, I'd love to participate (either teaching a bookbinding
class or taking other classes). Keep us all posted! I'd love to see
something happen.

Best wisher,
Li

Well, this is a start.

There is growing interest in printing in the Southern Region of late,
two people have acquired presses in the past year, and I know of a
couple others with serious interest.

We might want to hold a Stationer's event, centered around period
binding (printing equipment being less easy to transport).

Identify regional experts and activity centers. This requires
volunteers, and can work only if teaching and facilities are available.

Fill a web site with resources and regional contacts?

Just thinking out loud.

My facilities and I are available until I have to start packing - dates
unknown - to move to the Outlands (hopefully by Spring - my Lady is
already out there).

Regards,

Iheronimus

I would love to see the stations get rolling again. My day job has kept
me too busy to do much with the SCA for the last year, but looks to be
settling down again.
?
I know our local shire, Hartshorndale just got picked to host crown in a
few months, and will be having an artisans row.? Maybe we could do
something at that event?? The autocrat is in my household, so I can
easily broach the idea and be a liason for the guild.

Greetings,

How about classes and social gatherings coordinated/taught by guild
members throughout all the areas of the kingdom?

Also, if we have a little handout to pass out at events to inform people
about the guild that would be helpful. Something small, easy to print at
home and perhaps with period typeface?

Just some ideas
