Hey folks, the coordinator for the Bookbinding Day at Artisan's Row needs
our input.  Can those participating please get back to her (Marjory Johnson
mj05209 at yahoo.com) as soon as possible, so she can tell the person handling
the web site what to put there?  She has asked me to forward this on to the
list, as a quick place to announce the need for input.

Randy, I think you said you were interested in participating, and I think I
will be there at least part of the day, but I can't recall who else said
they were interested.  This is for Saturday, Aug 4th, all day, I think.

  Greetings Artisans Row Day Coordinators!

*This is a reminder that we need to get the copy for your Web Pages *SOON*.*

I hope all of you are working with your groups, setting up a tentative
schedule, and creating a description of what the populace can expect when
they visit your tent. Remember to plan your schedule out so that you have a
few people spread out through the day, not everyone arriving 2-5 PM.

(Remember, too, that we want the tents opened up and beginning
displays/activities set up, between 9:00-10:00 AM, with tear-down occurring
around 5:00-6:00 PM, unless the heat drives everyone off earlier. Evening
socials can extend as far into the night as people might want to stay,
though you should tell us if you are going to need lights after dark, and
you need to yield the tent, cleaned up, to the next group by 9:00 the next
morning.)

Are certain people in your group who have a special skill only going to be
available during particular hours? Let everyone know that. Are you planning
to have a display set up that really shows off your art form? Tell us what
you are going to have. Are you going to have make-and-take activities all
day? Describe the kinds of kits you are going to be putting together for
everyone. Get everyone curious, interested, even excited at the thought of
what you are planning.

Remember, electrons are cheap, so feel free to get elaborate on your page.
If someone within your group wants to get so ambitious as to create a full
web site for your tent, go ahead and do that. Send us your information (or
your URL), and we will see to it that it is linked to your tent on the grid.

You can revise and expand these starter pages over the course of the summer,
as you work out in more detail what you are planning for your tents.
