Greetings to the List!

I've been remiss! I'm
sorry, I'm sorry.

Coronation is almost upon us (April 11), and I have
neglected to put out a call for gifts to Their Majesties and Their Highnesses
in the name of the Company.

For several years, since we were given our
Royal Charter, the Worshipful Company of Stationers of the East Kingdom have
given gifts to each pair of Royalty. Initially, we gave gifts at Spring
Coronation and Twelfth Night. Last year, we decided to give gifts only
at Spring Coronation, to both Their Majesties and Their Heirs.

We have
given gifts of blank books, cards, stationery, and woodblock
prints.

These things we have done, though our Charter does not require
it. These things we have been thanked for. These gifts we give
continue to let the populace know that we are here.

Please, if anyone
would like to give gifts covered by our Charter (book and book-related arts),
please let me know. Any member of the Company who is at Coronation is
welcome to come forward when we go to present our gifts (whether we manage to
get onto the Court docket or present them while they are sitting in
state).

Who is a member of the Company? We do not have formal
requirements for membership. If you have an interest in the book arts
(and why else would you be receiving this missive), you can consider yourself
a member.

Regards,
Lyle FitzWilliam
Master of the Worshipful
Company of Stationers of the East Kingdom
