Ahhh. I was simply grousing about the stupid law. As for  
recommendations. You might simply ignore the law. Since it is a  
federal law, it may not actually apply to a local library. Local  
enforcement of federal law generally depends upon the commerce clause  
of the constitution. If your library doesn't have interstate patrons,  
then your lending is probably not involved in interstate commerce. I  
do suggest that you sticker children's books with warnings as a cyoa  
measure. Regardless, if you really are interested in a real solution,  
then you should consult the legal beagle your library keeps on  
retainer. (e.g., the city attorney.) If wish to avoid people  
generally yacking about this particular topic, then you should have  
either: 1) Not posted about it if you are the original poster or 2)  
Simply not read responses to this topic as they are most assuredly  
not from your legal counsel.
