Have you checked out the Internet Archive also known as The Wayback Machine.
http://www.archive.org/index.php

You put in the URL and if they indexed it you'll find versions from various years. Sometimes you have to put in the URL for each page. On one page I particularly wanted they only saved the text and not the images.
