Ah, good suggestion.  The Worldcat entry gives 1905 with a note  further 
down about the 1900 date.  I guess I'll go with the 1905 one.

Unless  there is a note in a preface or something about a "revision",  
then  use the earlier date on the copyright page. The 1905 can mean a  
lot  of different things including the year that the physical volume  
was  printed or reprinted. However, when in doubt try checking   
Worldcat.org and the Library of Congress for your title. Worldcat   
will even produce the citation for you.
