[Sca-librarians] Book Locator Assistance?

Greetings,

Apparently my google-foo today has limits, and I've exceeded them.

A friend is trying to locate a book that she read a long time ago, that
had a teacup-sized poodle named Gloria and a person who could kiss her
own elbow because she was faerie.  Does this ring any bells?
