are the only librarian listserv that I get together with in person
regularly.  All right, it's only once a year, at a campground and we're all
dressed funny, but you know what i mean.

You know, I am even more impressed now that I've seen the original.  Damn!
They are Good!  You have to be very meticulous if you're going to pull off a
Really Good take-off.  (Well, it's not a parody, and it's not a filk...)
The scansion is extremely close, the singer is pretty much spot on and the
people doing the dancing and lip-synching are right on it at least half the
time.  Plus the video action is properly evocative of the original while
still being its own presentation.
