Good gentles,<br><br>Forgive the cross-posting; I am trying to spread the n=
ews to as many SCAdians as possible. =C2=A0Today a friend made me aware of =
a new resource from the renowned Metropolitan Museum in NYC: a website call=
ed <a href=3D"http://www.metmuseum.org/research/metpublications">MetPublica=
tions</a>.=C2=A0 <br>
<br>Here&#39;s the description from the site:<br><p style=3D"margin-left:40=
px"><span style=3D"font-style:italic">MetPublications</span> is a portal=20
to the Met=E2=80=99s comprehensive publishing program. Beginning with nearl=
y 650
titles published from 1964 to the present, this resource will continue=20
to expand and could eventually offer access to nearly all books, <span styl=
e=3D"font-style:italic">Bulletins</span>, and <span style=3D"font-style:ita=
lic">Journals</span> published by the Metropolitan Museum since the Met&#39=
;s founding in 1870. It will also include online publications.</p>

<p style=3D"margin-left:40px"><span style=3D"font-style:italic">MetPublicat=
ions</span> includes a=20
description and table of contents for almost every title, as well as=20
information about the authors, reviews, awards, and links to related Met
bibliographies by author, theme, or keyword. Current titles that are=20
in-print may be previewed and fully searched online, with a link to=20
purchase the book. The full contents of almost all other titles may be=20
read online, searched, or downloaded as a PDF, at no cost. Books can be=20
previewed or read and searched through the Google Books program. Many=20
out-of-print books are available for purchase, when rights permit,=20
through print-on-demand capabilities in association with Yale University
Press.</p>I went through the list of currently available books online (368=
).=C2=A0 Below is a<i> partial</i> list of ones that may be of interest to =
SCA members and can be downloaded as PDFs with full-color illustrations.=C2=
