Greetings from Solveig! Thank you for posting Kali's obituary. I knew him back when I lived in Carolingia. Although he inspired me to try to learn Old Norse, I failed to find the book on Old Norse at the Harvard Coop and wound up learning Japanese instead. He will be missed.
