exhibition, “Elizabeth I: Ruler and Legend”, will be opening at the
Roger Williams University Library on October 25, 2006. Please join
us in celebrating the life of this remarkable monarch. The
exhibition will run through November 30, 2006. The opening events

<div align="center"><font face="Times New Roman, Times"><b>Carole Levin</font>, Willa Cather Professor of History at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Senior Historical Consultant for this exhibition, will deliver a lecture entitled “Princess Elizabeth Travels across Her Kingdom in Life, in Text, and On Stage.” Dr. Levin has written extensively about Elizabeth I, including the well renowned <font face="Times New Roman Bold, Times"><i>Heart and Stomach of a King: Elizabeth I and the Politics of Sex and Power</i></font>. She is a captivating speaker who is passionate about all things Elizabethan.<br>

Elizabethan vocal music will be provided by select members of the Roger Williams University Chorus. A scene from the RWU production of </font><font face="Times New Roman Bold, Times"><i>As you Like It</i></font><font color="#000080"> </font>will be staged. Members of the Elizabethan Society will be featured in the character of Elizabethan times. Please consider dressing in period costume for this event if so desired. </blockquote>
