Greetings!
Just to point out something - you have a perfectly
good name and lovely armory registered to your group,
and changing the identifier (College to Shire) changes
nothing in regards to your heraldic status - the name
and armory don't 'go away' easily or quickly or
quietly!
IF the group as a whole wants to submit a change
of name and/or device, it will take approximately
nine months from submission to approval - if the
documentation for your proposed name is good
AND the armory is good AND the paperwork is
good.
Just fair warning - paperwork for a group's heraldic
stuff is a bit more detailed than for an individual,
and group names MUST be good construction
for whatever language and have all the appropriate
documentation. Holding names are not formed for
groups. AND, don't forget the petition requirement
for any change to a group's armory or name.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the name
'Arrow's Flight'. The original members were mostly
archers, so chose the name to reflect their main
activity as well as the armory. The armory is wonderful,
simple and classic in design.
Personally, I wouldn't mess with it - only if the entire
group desires a new name and/or device should you
look into the requirements. Otherwise, petition the
Crown for the status change and don't worry about
the heraldry - it is valid no matter what your group
identifier is - College, Shire, Canton or Barony.
Arrow's Flight is still the Provo, UT, zip code area.
