Coronet.

Can you narrow your search down some? Are you looking at a particular
time period, region or metal type? It's a pretty broad field and if you
are trying to document something you'll want to have some specifics. It
also makes it easier to search.

On a general search at your library, I'd start looking under the
following subject headings:

Goldwork	Goldwork-History
Silverwork	Jewelry
Regalia Jewelry-History

Also check out the Artists and Portraits for the time you are looking
at. Crowns and Coronets are most likely to be in portratis of
Coronations or processionals. You'll find that most rulers were painted
with the Regalia of State only in those kinds of portraits. The rest of
the time they had nice hats or other jewelry. They weren't worn all the
time. Museum catalogs are also a good place to hunt through, especially
if the exhibit is relevant to your search (date, place etc.).

Good luck!
