Same ole story that I hope this nonsense wil stop soon... bouncing posts
on
the Aerie, that is.

Nevertheless, here are the results from the Kingdom Equestrian
Championship Tournament.

	Sir Landolf Witkowski does stand victorious as the Third Artemisian
Equestrian Champion.

	The day began with entertaining demos of hounds’ lure coursing and
carting. Additional demos such as experimental side sword, fencing and
mounted crest combat were placed in-between sets of two mounted
combatants throughout the tournament. Combatants tilted at the rings and
quintain, and then raced through the behead-the-enemy course. 

	The top five scores then went to a final round with a clean slate. Here
each individual rider entered a challenge course having two minutes at
their disposal in which to collect enough points to win the tournament.
The course included tilting at rings, weaving a heads course and chopping
reeds off from the center of a lane. All combatants rode well. Artemisia,
be proud to have such a good representation in the titlyard.

	Vivats to those five riders who made it to the final round: M’Lady Kari
of Dellwood Forest riding Osiris, Mu’allemah Yasmeena riding Dillon, Sir
Landolf Witkowski riding Gaelin, Lady Freydis the Good riding Cairo and
M’Lady Danielle riding Shadow.
