[Artemisia] Absinthe Laws

Call me crazy but why are we worried about a drink that was invented in 1797 by Dr. Pierre Ordinaire when this is a pre-1600's group?  Just curious.

BTW, I'd love some of that hard cider in an oak cask I've been hearing about <g>

  Actually the law in regards to Absinthe is crazy! It is illegal to sell/distribute/or make absinthe in the U.S. However, it is perfectly legal to buy it internationally and import it for personal use...this includes buying it on the internet. Look at our justice system at work!
