similar laws  govern the known narchotic Kava, from the South Pacific.  One 
can buy Kava at a herb store or south pacific grocerer, but it is illegal to 
have it in your body system.  Never did figure that one out either.

Kava, by the way ... is period.  I never did get the attraction ...
