Well, you've described the dream event.  I once had
the opportunity to autocrat it in One Thousand Eyes. 
(The trick was getting all the campers to clean up
after themselves -- which turned out to be pretty
easy.)

And you're been to an event very much like it, Lord
Adric -- Woodlands War.
