One Sonja Musser Golladay has been working for a time
on a translation of Alfonso the Wise's _Book of
Games_, a 13th century work. She recently added some
new major sections to her online work. The biggest
item is that she just added translation of the _Book
of Tables_ {Tables=Backgammon-like games). Sir Justin
du Coeur, SCA gaming guru, rates this translation as
probably being the single most important gaming
history project in the works.
The translation can be found at
http://www.u.arizona.edu/~smusser/ljtranslation.html
(You can also get a facsimile of the _Book of Games_
at http://games.rengeekcentral.com/)
Regards,
Niccolo

have been getting wrong from the _Book of Tables_.)
