[Artemisia] Defenders Tourney

To the esteemed populous of Artemisia does the Youth Ministry of Loch
Salann send greetings: 

Defenders Tourney is but a few short weeks away. 

The wild storms of winter have passed and as the sun emerges from the
mists to thaw the land, so too emerges a danger so vile, so despicable,
so terrifying that Their Excellencies of Loch Salann put forth a
challenge to the land that one may shine through these dreary times and
save us from the Devious and Dangerous, the Dastardly and Disgusting. 
That creature from the briny waters of the Salty Wastes... The Saline
Swilling Daemon Decapod itself, the Great Brine Shrimp.   Sloughing its
way across the barren salt flats to find sustenance in the village
beyond. Someone please save us.

The youth of the kingdom have not been forgotten during this time of
need.  In preparation for their advancement to a higher calling, the
youth in attendance will:  

. Attend a class wherein the skills of courtly behaviour both on and off
the field will be taught.  

. Participate in a contest in which the youth will learn to correctly
identify and address persons of royal and noble stature within the
kingdom. 

. Create a treasure chest and then search for missing treasure. 

. Display their own strength and ability to defend the barony from the
Daemon Decapod by participating in a boffer tourney. 

. And last but not least, the highly sought after surprise activity for
the amusement of all players. 

Since many of the activities at this event will have direct relationship
to levels within the Pages program, it is recommended that all
participating youth be sure to sign up so that you can be 'counted'.
