[Artemisia] Kingdom Traditions

Just a personal opinion, but I think it helps to make a person's ceremony
more meaningful when they may design one of their own liking. You are quite
correct that some of them are a bit long, but I've really enjoyed that about
some of them, too. Mistress Osondrea

Not that I have seen many ceremonies, but as always willing to offer my two
cents.
My first suggestion would be make them shorter. Last year at Uprising I was
witness to two very long awards ceremonies. They were very elaborate and
very well done. But I don't make it to court that much so my only frame of
reference is the days when Artemisia was still new, I seem to remember
quicker and more to the point ceremonies. As for a tradition maybe all the
people who have received the same award (that are present) could welcome the
new person with a handshake or something to that effect. Just my thoughts.

Great questions!
I am on my way out the door to Idaho Falls for the event and will not
return until later in the weekend. However, I shall respond, in some detail,
upon my return!

Greetings to all.
I would like to solicit *everyone's* opinion regarding Artemisian Kingdom
traditions, both as a Pirncipality and a Kingdom. Are there certain
traditions that Artemisia has had that you like? Dislike? Are there new
things you would like to see as traditions? I am particularly interested in
your views regarding awards ceremonies, but any information you are willing
to provide would be helpful.
If you wish to share your views with others, you can respond to the list,
or please feel free to email me privately. Please also feel free to forward
this message to anyone else who might be interested if they are not on this
list.
Thank you in advance for your input.

HL Theodora of Trebizond
