[Artemisia] Re: Court

I want to say firstly that I love the idea of Sitting in State. As a
very minor player in this game, I would love to have the opportunity to present a
gift of some kind to TRM without feeling like I had to take time in court or
interrupt them during some sort of official business, or their very important
private time.

Some comment has been made on the additional strain that Sitting in State
or holding lower courts would place on TRM's schedule. Would it really be
necessary for a Sitting every day of an event? I think it quite likely that one
an event would be quite sufficient for the business at hand - otherwise
there'd likely be a lot of wasted time.

Also - this may be a heretical and highly insulting suggestion - but do
the King and Queen need to do everything? At an event the size of Uprising, we
often have a Prince and Princess, as well as several Barons and Baronesses in
attendance. I know I love their Excellencies of Loch Salann, and if I were
part of the Sheep Shearing Competition, I would likely be more flattered if
Baron Tryggvi stopped by at the end to hand the prize to the winner than simply
to have it mentioned in court. Having that time (even if it's just a couple
minutes) dedicated just to my small,
insignificant-in-the-greater-scale-of-all-the-things-happening-at-the-event tournament - having the personal investment
from a member of the royalty, would prove more significant - and indubitably
more memorable.

Also, a likely ignorant question, would it be possible for the Heralds to
announce the winners of specific competitions rather than calling up the
person who ran each event? The list of winners could then be given all at once,
it would save the time having each person walk up the aisle, and then back to
their seats, and I have seen quite a few heralds who could render such a list
interesting and entertaining, as well as brief.
