Greetings, everyone:
I've enjoyed reading everyone's opinions on how courts should be done. I
would like to make two points here. The first is, before you call out
something in court, ask yourself if it contributes to the proceedings, or if
it is even courteous. I'm sure some of you remember the Uprising court where
someone on the dais was BOOED by some members of the populace. I hope that
type of apalling rudeness will never happen again in Artemisia.
My second point is, please make sure that your "humorous touches" don't
overwhelm what is happening. I like to think that those who take part in
(for instance) peerage questionings (setting on vigil) and the actual
peerage ceremonies are taking these things seriously. There is no reason for
either thing to happen otherwise.
