Greetings, all (Particularly *you* Morgan :) )

Something that the Barony of Sentinels' Keep decided to do is to subsidize the Non-Member surcharge for those people attending their very first event.  The stipulation is that the event must be one that is hosted by the Barony.  The exchequer still forwards $3.00 for each of them, but it comes from Baronial funds.

I really like this idea, and have thought of doing it on a personal level, especially when I invite a newcomer to their first event.  

As far as how to know who is attending for the first time and who isn't...

Aren't we a society based on the principles of honor and chivalry?
