[Artemisia] Best Little Army... the tournament

This is what to expect:

The opening ceremonies include a processional of all the competing
armies. They will be presented to Their Royal Majesties, Their Royal
Highnesses, Ladies of the berfrois and Noble spectators by their own
herald or the field herald. Each army may use this time to win cheers,
inspire chants and perhaps receive favors with whatever prompting deemed
appropriate, and within a reasonable amount of time. After which, the
armies will retire to the recet to await their call to the battlefield.

Winning is based on points. Two three-man armies shall enter and take
their positions. At the signal, the archers loose their 6 arrows. Shoot
slowly and carefully to score well or be the first one to finish and get
extra points. Then the coursairs charge into the fray and behead the
enemy. The first to finish gets extra points. And finally, the armored
fighters of the infantry clash. Points are lost as time elapses so fight
carefully but aggressively. 

Regular armies are formed to win; pick your comrades and go for the
victory. Or join the irregulars who will be assigned an army weighted to
even the chances of each army. Or do both!

Please register your Regular Army by May 16th... Sunday evening. Send me
the name of your Regular Army and its colors, as well as the titles and
names of its members.  All other entrants will be placed in the Irregular
Army division with members selected at the event. Registration for the
Irregular Army will begin Friday evening at 8pm and close Saturday at
9am. Registration will be set up at my encampment in Tinker Town next to
the stables.
