[Artemisia] Our Cousins in the south

I too have brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins & many friends in most the devastated areas (I myself am from Mobile, AL though I now live in Pocatello). What little I have heard is that everyone is safe and well. Many prayers & condolences go out to those left behind to pick up their lives. I lived through hurricanes Camille & Fredrick as well as a number of smaller hurricanes & tropical storms. It is not easy to pick up your life after something so devastating but all of us down there know this is part of life and we keep going. We just work together to get back on our feet and keep going. I will send our thoughts to those down there as I hear from them. The whole world is concerned for them but the little personal thoughts help more than you know!

  I am posting this out of concern for our dear cousins caught by that monster
  of a storm Katrina,

  Is anyone aware of how our people faired?  I know that my brother in New
  Orleans is rethinking his philosophy of staying put.  He only just survived
  and when I finally get to talk to him (imagine, he's ducking my calls...yes
  I got through), he will know how I feel about that one!!!

  Anyway,  I was just wondering if anyone heard and if anyone needs our help
  or donations?
