[Artemisia] Library at Loch Salann Collegium

Greetings to all,

As Lady Maysun posted in her event announcement, I am running a library at the upcoming Loch Salann Collegium.  I am looking for volunteer librarians, as well as for book donors.  If you have any interest in helping, or if you want more details, please contact me at estavash (at) msn (dot) com.  

The library will be in a separate area roped off from the rest of the event.  There will be tables and chairs there for those who wish to browse and do research; no books will leave the library.  The library will be open all day, and closed at the time of the evening feast.  For those who wish to bring books for the day,  please make sure the books in question are clearly labeled with your name.  If you wish to bring books that are particularly precious to you, we will make a separate reserve book collection that is not set up on the general tables, and library patrons will need to request these books directly from the librarian.  There will be no food or drink in the library, and no children unless accompanied by an adult.

I will be bringing my textile and scribal books, and Niccolo will bring his dance and gaming books.  If you plan to bring books, I would appreciate knowing the approximate number and type so that I can plan the space accordingly, but last-minute contributions would be welcome too, even if it's just one or two books that you find particularly useful.  Again, make sure they are labeled, and please label your boxes and bags as well, so that if we have enough volunteers, we may be able to help you pack up at the end of the day.  If you would like to volunteer as a librarian, please let me know in advance, and if possible, let me know the time of day you'd like to help.  (Whether you want to help for half the day, or just for an hour, or even just long enough to give me a lunch break, your help is welcomed.)

Depending on the number of contributions, we may be in need of some bookshelves as well.  If you have a small bookshelf that travels well and that you would be willing to bring, please let me know.  Bookends would also be helpful.
