SHIRE OF BRONZEHELM SCHOLA
September 30th, 2006
The Shire of Bronzehelm is sponsoring a day of academia for all to learn
more about the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
The site is the Hope Methodist Church Hall on Wicks in the Heights.
244 Wicks Lane. This is a DRY site.
Their Majesties Tianna and Timmur will be joining us for this auspicious
occasion.
Site opens at 11:00 am and closes at 11:00 pm. Classes will start at 12:30
pm and run until 5:30 pm. Court will be at the pleasure of Their Majesties.
Classes are currently being scheduled, and there is always room for one more
scholar to share their knowledge. There is also a substantial outdoor area
for martial arts instruction.
But wait! There's more! A Feast from the French Renaissance will be served
in the evening, prepared by our own Maistreas Caointairn. The menu includes:
EGGS FARCED, SPINACH TART, RAMEKINS OF CHEESE, LITTLE MEATBALLS with SAUCE
ROBERT, A BARLEY DISH, SALLAT, FRUIT TARTS, SOUPPE DESPOURVEUE, CHICKEN IN
TARRAGON CREAM SAUCE, BLANC MENGIER PARTI {subject to change with the whim
of the seasonal rains, the gardener and huntsman}. Those who have special
diet/allergy concerns should contact the Head Cook. The site will only
accommodate 60 diners, so pre-paid reservations need to be sent in by
September 15th.
