January 14th, 2006 is the Shire of Silverkeep's 20th Annual Birthday
Bash Event

Welcome one and all to the 20th Birthday of the Shire of Silverkeep!
Come join us on Jnauary 14th, 2006, and help us enjoy this
celebration!

Our traditional Bearpit Tourney will be held that afternoon at
1:00pm. This tournament promises to be fun. Remember that this site
has great, large windows that you can stand in front of and watch the
fighting from inside. Rapier fighting will be held if interest is
shown.

We will have activities through the day, not only for the adults but
plenty to keep the interest of the children as well. There will be a
soup kitchen in the afternoon. There will be an Italian feast at
6:30 that evening. This is a wet site, period containers please. A
silent auction will be held in the afternoon, there will be shield
sledding and also a live dessert auction after the feast.

Merchants are more then welcome; there is no merchant fee, but
please donate an item for our auction. If you are interested, please
contact the Event Steward (contact info below).
There will also be classes throughout the day for those that are
interested!

The event site will once again be Lindley Center, at Lindley Park in
Bozeman, MT. Site opens at 10:00am and closes at 10:00pm. Site fee
is $6 for the day, and $6 for the feast. Non-member surcharge will
be $3.  Please make checks payable to "Shire of Silverkeep, SCA,

Directions to site: Take your best route to Bozeman, MT. Take the
East Main Street exit. Follow the road around, you will be going
West. Turn Left on Cypress Avenue at the top of the hill. You should
see an SCA sign here. Follow Cypress around the park; Lindley Center
will be on your right at the end of the park.
