Also, for the record, the Society Seneschal does not hold a seat on the SCA, Inc.  Board of Directors.  That is a separate deal. the Society Seneschal is accountable to the BoD, butg is not a member of it.

The theory is that there is a series of checks and balances that include the SCA's participants, local level officers and royalty, the Society level officers, and the Corporate officers (i.e. the BoD and the President of the SCA, Inc., etc). 

I am not asking for more people to state their opinions about this structure, I am merely trying to make sure people understand.  The terms are, in a lot of cases, seemingly interchangeable, and it can be easily confused.
