Greetings!
First, I am thrilled to announce that there will be three full tracks of
classes on September 30th at the Schola in Bronzehelm. Site opens at 11:00 am
and classes start at 12:30 pm. Feast and Court will be scheduled at the
pleasure of Their Majesties, and if time allows we will try for some dancing
afterwards, with site closing at 11:00 pm.
Second, here are directions to the site:
From the West on Interstate 90:
Take Exit 452 - Metra exit. The road at the top of the exit is Old Hardin
Road. Turn left and cross over the Interstate. You will follow the road and
cross over the Yellowstone River. After the first entrance to the Fairgrounds,
get to the right and stay in the right hand lane. At the T intersection, go to
the Right, heading for Roundup. This is Main Street. Get in the middle lane
when you can, and follow the road around MetraPark into the Heights. * Stay
on Main for 2.3 miles, until you reach a major intersection with two dedicated
left turn lanes. The road is Wicks Lane, and WalMart is to the far right after
the intersection, with a Cenex immediately to the right at the intersection.
Turn left and get into the left lane. After the next light, which is Lake Elmo
Drive, there will be a church with a large parking lot on the left. This is
the Hope Methodist Church. There will be signs.
From the North, coming down from Broadview and Lavina and past the Airport,
do not take the City Center exit at the Airport entrance. Go straight (watch
for that intersection - it is a 3 Way stop) and head down into the Heights. At
the intersection with Main Street, take a Left and follow the above directions
from *. Your distance to Wicks Lane will be about 2.2 miles.
Third, please don't forget that we are asking for paid reservations for feast
by September 15th. Checks should be made payable to 'Shire of Bronzehelm, SCA
Inc.' and sent to
Karen Ostrowski, 2832 Oakland Dr, Billings, MT 59102
Feast fee is $5, children under 10 are half price, and there is a cap on feast
of 60.

We expect at least a couple of merchants, and there will also be a Silent
Auction to benefit the Kingdom Travel Fund. At this time, I am trying to
ensure some children's activities during part of the afternoon. This will not
be a babysitting service, and any volunteers or suggestions are more than
welcome.
And, finally, at the request of HM Timmur, there will be rapier as well as
hard suit martial activities outside the hall. There is a very large open area
just outside the church - baseball field size - that is very suitable for all
sorts of fighting activities.
Thank you for your kind attention.
