In your vast experience, which you have taken pains to point out to us
in detail, you seem to have missed the unwritten rule that I'm the one
allowed to be sarcastic on this list. All other do so at my
sufferance. Today you do not have my permission.

For someone with such long years in the Society, and such an interest
in what is both true and proper, I am deeply surprised that you have
never availed yourself of the writings of Cariadoc. Well, you have the
link now and can get to the rest of the Miscellany from there, or you
could simply google him and his work. Given your random disbelief in
the trustworthiness of others, perhaps that would be the better way to
go, rather than continuing a discuss with people you whose words you
do not believe.
