Greetings, Lady Luvaday -
We usually have vases with us. But most people just buy a single stem from
us, to which we affix a "drinker" or water tube. Some folks just buy a mix
of flowers and find a tankard or something at their camp to put them in.
But again, I'm just kinda getting a feeling for all of this and I appreciate
your input. Very much.

While I do agree with some of what Luvaday said, having never bought flowers
for myself and being unable to nudge the lout I was married to hard enough
for him to get the hint. I do know that they do lovely floral headpieces
which seem to me to fit right in with camping as it has often looked to me like
every young lady in the forest suddenly donned such headpieces and became
sprites flitting amongst the trees. Probably not period but certainly giving
moments of "living the dream".
I am afraid that I would feel too self concious to wear the floral crowns as
it seems to me to be something for the younger and more active. However, if
something along the lines of a wrist corsage or upper arm band made of
flowers were available and in colors to match whatever I was wearing that day, you
can be certain I would be standing in line for such and enhancement.
Probably even buy some for friends as a wrist corsage or armband does not seem to
carry any sort of connotation other than, "lovely outfit" or "my you did that
well". I have often given necklaces or rings for the same sorts of reasons
and would see no difference in using such arrangements for the same thing.
I guess I have hesitated on the long stemmed roses and/or the headpieces
because they can tend to send a "different" message. One which I would not
intend.
Anyway, there is a suggestion for you. Don't know if it is even possible or
profitable not being in that business. But I would indeed buy wrist type
flower arrangements or even those that fit the upper arm both for myself and
for others where I have in the past hesitated to buy the long stemmed roses or
headpieces (but don't stop on the headpieces, I love seeing a stately forest
turn into a playground for nymphs and sprites). I wouldn't really care if
the wrist stuff were roses, seems to me that some different even smaller
flowers with streaming ribbons would be just as lovely if not more so.
Off to bed with me now.
