Did you also know that there is a shy little herb called Woodruff that is
the main flavoring of May Wine? Woodruff has a bitter, pungent, but not
unpleasant flavor. May Wine is called May Wine because it is made in
September (when the grapes are harvested) and is ready to drink in May. It
is a white wine, but for the exact grape used to make it you would need to
talk to a vintner. It is also called "Green Wine." It is ritualistically
drunk in Pagan Beltane festivals. Because it is drunk in May, it does not
have the mellow flavor of a more aged wine, and therefor is flavored with
woodruff.

Woodruff is also used in thresh to freshen a room.

This is fun!

BTW - HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you!

Marigolds make great wine
hic!
And they look really cool when you run over them with a lawn mower, or let
your goat eat them.
Thats kinda medieval, NO?
