A Midsummer Gathering
(and Kingdom Equestrian Championship)
July 14th, 2007
Hounds race, Fighters brace, Steeds give chase, and Rapiers show their grace. Come and enjoy some summer fun with their Majesties, while watching the Equestrians compete for the honor of Champion, as well as watching the Fighter and Rapier Tournaments. Or sit in on the exciting classes before the evening of feasting, singing and dancing. During the heat of the day, only moments away, a fruity refreshment of Italian ice to enliven the day, (Kingdom fund raiser).
There will be hounds coursing for entertainment before morning court. The heavy fighter tournament is a Pas de Armes. There will be a rapier tournament as well. The classes we have for the afternoon include but are not limited to Making Wax Tablets by THL Celestine of Arn Hold and a Herb class by THL Ivegard Sask. There is a childrens playground area and pets are allowed on leash.

The evening cold feast will include a garden salad, herb bread, cold chicken, cheese, and for dessert fruit tarts or cheese cake topped with fruit. The cost of Feast is $6.00 per person. Feast reservations are required no later than July 7, 2007. Please contact the feast steward to make your reservations.
Pets on leash at all times, unless participating in the hounds coursing. The site is damp (period container, no glass). Standard equestrian rules apply, as well as worming and yearly vaccinations. West Nile vaccination is recommended. If you have any questions please contact Lady Erin, the Equestrian Steward.
Site fees: Adult 16+ years $8.00 (member), $11.00 (non-member); 5-15 years $4.00 (member), $7.00 (non-member); Child under five free. Family Cap: $24.00. Feast is $6.00 per person. Make checks payable to Barony of Arn Hold, SCA Inc.

3280 Francine Place , Meridian Idaho 83642 (Victory and Ten Mile). I84 to the Meridian Road exit. Turn South on Meridian Road and follow till you come to Victory Road . Turn West onto Victory Road and follow till you come to Francine Place .
