For some reason I'm reminded of a conversation between Jahan's former 
lady and her father, in which he said, "I've raced stock cars, I'm a 
white water guide, and I work at a major nuclear research facility.  I 
may not be in your club, but I'm not 'mundane!'"

In my new home, I usually hear this expressed as, "No cross-geeking!"

Why would I spend time and thought on some "Harold the Potter?"  Clear 
by the name that he's a commoner!  (Tho I have heard nasty rumours that 
my lady may have been up all night with him a few days ago.)
