Dear Conrad,

If you are uninterested in the topics we're discussing, that's why  
there is a delete key on your keyboard. A lot of the list seems to  
have some interest in Harry Potter. I am always interested in hearing  
more about other people's lives, interests, and feelings. But it's  
entirely possible I don't have a clue what is appropriate discussion  
on the Aerie. Perhaps I missed the rules about appropriate discussion  
topics when I signed onto the list? You seem to have a clear idea of  
what is an appropriate topic for discussion. Why don't you outline  
what we can and can't discuss for us. If everyone agrees, I can  
certainly help keep the Aerie appropriately stale in the future.

Personally, I don't give two figs about fighting (maybe one, but not  
two), but I have a delete key, too. And if event announcements and  
fighting tips are the only appropriate topics for the Aerie, it will  
certainly speed up my reading (or not reading) and deleting in the  
future.
