As with any new site, there will be a lot of tweaking to be done.

The main thing I want from an event site is to forget the modern world.  
When I looked at the new location, before the event, that was a big 
worry for me.

To my pleasure and surprise, I saw *less* of the modern world from the 
new site than I did from Mountain River Ranch.  (We did have two 
wandering holy men come by, as oft happens in South and Central 
Artemisia, but they were made welcome by a lady of their Order.)
