[Artemisia] Combined Kingdom Competition

That was not my plan at all. The clarification of display vs. champion is
that the display items are not up for any awards, per se. I plan to have
judges for all entered items. The only things that might be present that
would not be getting judging feedback are if someone wants to do a general
craft display area (like Marisa's fiber display.. more of a show & tell
area).

This is what I sent to the Sage editor (and Annys) for the April Sage:
To enter for Kingdom Arts & Sciences Champion, entrants must enter three
(and no more than three) entries showing distinct skill sets (i.e. different
Grand Categories). Entrants must be in attendance at the event. There is
also a display section where we are currently allowing a single entry
(display entrants do not need to attend, but we'll miss you!) Documentation
is required for all entries. See the Kingdom Arts and Sciences Handbook for
more information.

Let me know if you have any recommended rewordings.

Thanks,
 Giliana

I would like a clarification. Last night at a meeting I was told that only
the entrants that were competing for Kingdom Champion would have their
entries judged. The other entries (only one allowed per person) were FOR
DISPLAY ONLY. Is this true? If so - frankly, it sucks. (and if the
entries are for display only, why the heck is there a limit of one?) If not
then someone had better clarify this fast, as the person I was arguing with
told me that she had the event write up and that's the way it would be going
into the Sage.

Also, my apologies, but in the heat of the moment I am afraid I mentioned
that the competition had been discussed in this forum and that that was not
the impression that I had received here. I should not have mentioned that
we had discussed the situation, or repeated info that had been posted here.

Gefjon
(who is beginning to wonder if that weaving class that conflicted with this
event might have been the better choice!)
