On the topic of Uprising-

The Artemisian Scotch Society will be teaching Scotch Judging 101 at Uprising, night to be determined.  This class is *absolutely* pre-registration only, participants must be legal drinking age, and required course materials are a bottle of quality single malt scotch, as determined by the instructor, moi.  All would-be students should contact me privately for futher information.  PLEASE NOTE:  This will NOT be drunken debauchery, this will be a formal class on the various nuances of good scotch, and how to recognize the subtle differences between Glenmorangie Port Finish and Glenmorangie Sherry Finish (for example).  Those interested in tilting back a bottle and getting truly wasted are invited to go somewhere else.
