I see your point Raven, but I disagree- a similar-themed event in the same month in the same mundane city for 30 years is not, in my opinion, a "longer running *event*" (emphasis mine) than Stan Wyrm's Dragon's Tear, which has been held every year for 25 years, most (if not all) of which were held at the same site, or Melee Madness, which has had not only the same site but the same Steward for 25 years.

Ah but there you are right and then again wrong.
The tournament for the groups defender and the conquerer of the great brine shrip have been tried and celebrated for all that time. The name may have changed the people and the group may have grown but it's the same "themed" event at about the same time every year. And that's what we're getting at.
