Actually, if it is intended to be German (and it is grammatically correct
for that language) it would be pronounced "DROCK-eh-toad." The ck would be
aspirated on the soft palate (rather like what your cat says when she's
annoyed) and the d in toad might become t, depending on your accent. This is
the modern Northern German pronunciation. I'm sure there have been phonetic
shifts since then but am not sure what they might be.
